As well as being great for overall health and fitness, Performance Boost is also ideal for you if you are returning to exercise after an injury, have to work around a longer-term injury as you train, or if you’ve been out of the exercise habit for a while and want to make sure you exercise safely as you return. The benefit of these small-group classes is that your instructor continuously monitors your form and adapts your exercise to suit your ability and to work around any issues or injuries you have. For example, your session can be tailored to be effective for relieving back and neck pain, increasing your strength following surgery, improving your movement control to treat arthritis, or building bone density for managing osteoporosis/osteopenia.
